Top Flash Games

Those of you who’ve read my posts before realize that I’m a big fan of flash games, and more than once I have rated different flash games and talked about which ones are the best flash games and which are the worst. It is about time I went into detail about my favorite games in each gaming category. Strategy games are my favorite, here are a few of the ones I can’t get enough of.

Phage wars. I do not have very much to say about this one apart from that this is currently one of the best flash strategy games I have ever played. The idea is simple, you’re species of bacteria (or virus not particularly sure) and your goal is to multiply and take over cells in a strategic way so as to wipe out all other species of bacteria. Simple yet addicting, the weaker the bacteria you choose, the more difficult beating all of the levels becomes.

I think some of the top flash games out there are tower defense games, and as far as tower defense (TD games are a sub category of strategy games, for all those of you who are concerned) games go Gemcraft is quite famous. Gemcraft is the ideal example of a TD game that all TD games aspire to become. The fundamental concept is the same as any TD game, you try and stop incoming monsters by using your towers. The one twist is, in this game you get to mix several types of gems to generate countless combinations of towers and their abilities. A must for all strategy game lovers.

Anyone who has ever played a couple of flash games has heard of the game Sonny. Sonny 2 has been one of the most played strategy games online. Sonny 2 is a turn based fighting game, very much like the famous final fantasy, but with its very own unique dark story. At the beginning of the game, you select your character’s class, items and skills. From then on you’ll go on a number of battles of your choice, for gaining experience, gold and loot. A few of these battles will be a part of the story and some won’t, but all of them will certainly be fun.

The gold you win from these battles becomes really useful when buying items at the shop, because without properly equipping your character, beating this game is impossible. What I like about the shop is that the items it has are continually changing, which means you better check it out every level. Sonny 2 has story, awesome game play and amazing graphics and with an enormous ability tree and a lot of weapons and classes this game is bound to keep you reeled in for a while.
